Flag Day Vigil- Line the Avenue for Justice & Equality
Sunday, June 14 5-6 pm.

Join us in support of the struggle for our black and brown neighbors to have equity in accessing the rights and freedoms the flag represents.

We Will Line Hamilton Avenue With Our Signs Of Support. The goal is to line the street with supporters all the way from Northside to Mt Healthy or beyond!

Bring water, signs and mask up.

Stand along the sidewalks at least six feet apart.

This event is intended to be family-friendly, peaceful, low-risk for those who need to remain socially distanced due to their risk for coronavirus, and accessible for folks who may have difficulty standing or walking for long periods of time.

Guidelines:
-Black Shirts/Hats/Clothing (Mourning Wear), bring black umbrellas can be used to shade yourself from the sun.
-Signs are welcome that express unity, confession, lament, hope, love, and pursuit of justice.
-Please respect physical distancing by keeping a minimum of 6 feet from one another as we line the sidewalk.
-Please wear masks.
-This event is intended to be accessible for folks who may have difficulty standing or walking. If standing is difficult please bring a folding chair.
-Please avoid blocking business entrances, walkways, streets and intersections.
-Please avoid littering the sidewalks. Let’s leave our community better than we found it.
